I did manage get to the Mesa Slam-off. It was really, really good. For those who don't know what a poetry slam is, well, you just need to get to one. For the first time, the Mesa team consists of three women and one guy. It's the first time this has happened in the history of the Mesa Poetry Slam team. It was a fun night. Although one of my buddies, who has been trying to get on the team for several years did not make it, again.

We've got the Kink Carnival this weekend at APEX. The Phoenix boys of Leather are having a little bake sale. So i'll be going over to a friend's house tomorrow to make some muffins and stuff to sell at the Carnival.

I've been selling copies of my new chapbook. I've sold one at every event or poetry night i've gone to. Plus some friends are buying copies. I made enough money to pay for entrance to the Slam, and make more copies of "Crisis of Consciousness." I'd still like to sell more of "Myth of the One." Well, check that, i NEED to sell more copies of that book too. It's just hard to get people to shell out the $$. THIS IS MY ART PEOPLE!!!! Order a book! The info is at www.diecastpoetry.com.

So i'm concentrating on that for now. I have other ideas for alternative ways of making money, but they are still germinating. I do know one thing, as much as i want to, i just don't seem to be suited for a "9-5" or 3-11, or that structure a work environment entails. I've been trying to overcome this, but it just ain't happening!

On the M/s front. It's going ok. I was really sick last week, and Master contracted whatever icky that made me ill. We spent the weekend on downtime. Mainly watching movies, and me taking care of Her. We missed the MasT meeting and we both wanted to go so badly.

My hands flared up again, a week and a half ago.. I saw the Dr. earlier this week. We are now checking for food allergies, or anything else, because the Dr. said the fungus was all gone. So it's got to be something else at this point. Frustrated boy, in all the wrong ways!

I know i promised an entry about the cutting i received from M. Blair. That will be coming soon. It is just really hard to write about still.

At least i've got a new post to the website, and you, dear faithful readers, know i haven't abandoned you. I hope to have a new video diary up soon...keep checking back.
