There have been major changes at work. Not ones I'm particularly happy about, nor am I terribly dissappointed. It is just the way the changes were implemented that make me very unhappy.

Life with Master has been good. Sunday, we got to see friends from LA, and see a friend who is a girly girl dress up and audition as a Drag King! Ok, this is a girly girl femme with matching purses and shoes in the color pink! And she did a great job as a guy! check out the Drag King Troupe Sisterzz Twisted (i'm not telling ya which one we know...cuz there's two of em!) We would have stayed and watched the audition, but we had to get to the other side of the Valley for a MasT meeting.

So we've been busy with "Lifestyle" stuff. All about planning the Anniversary party for the Arizona Amazons. Which means we get to see some of our favorite people on a regular basis. That helps balance this icky work thing, and trying to figure out how to communicate with someone who only wants to hear his side, and tell his side. Some day I'll get used to that, right?

And then there is the obsession with the television show "Rock Star: Inxs." Thankfully it is only three nights a week, and it is almost over. But it has been one wild ride, watching which performers stay and which go. Who is evolving the fastest, and who isn't changing at all. It really is as close to "Reality" television as you can get. I'm enjoying it. And at least I have the time to catch up with it now. The thing about the job change, my schedule changed. So I don't have to be up at an early ugly time of the morning...ok 5:15 a.m., but that's so much better then 3:30 a.m. The new calendar reflects the changes.

I really will write more, and more at a gut level. This work change has really thrown me off. There is so much I want to write about, topics spinning around my head, and all I can do is play a stupid computer game, or watch stupid t.v. when I ought to be writing, working on outlines for Cooking Lessons, and formulating a presentation Master and I want to start next year.

Don't want to be stuck as just another corporate jocky swinging for the "man". I am a talented, creative, passionate Human Being, who has a drive to create and be successful.

So here's to working more toward that goal!

Earlier this week I was writing about last weekend, and tried to do something else on the computer, and then the computer ate some of my entry!

Instead of recreating that entry, I'm just putting up a quick post to say that interesting things are coming up. Tomorrow night is the panel discussion on Feminism and BDSM, led by Master, and we are meeting a new person to take to the Dungeon with us. This morning was grocery shopping, this afternoon was tortilla making and a quick pasta meal for dinner. Yesterday was going to pick up some free dungeon-style furniture, and we got to see several acquantinces. Then we went to T-Mobile to get me a new cellphone. Mine went wonky a couple weeks ago. We were going to get it fixed last weekend, but that didn't work out. They open at 10 a.m., we were there at 9 a.m.

So I have a loaner phone that is old and annoying, but at least I have communication while traveling about. They are sending a new phone that I should receive in a few days...yay! So if anyone who has my cell # had tried to call me recently, my apologies for not returning calls...out of order!

And it's off to bed at 7:30 p.m., because I get up at 3:30 a.m. to be to work by early.

I have a new feature on the side bar...check out the new calender. Send me a comment and let me know what you think!

Just a quick update. I'm adjusting to the new job, new hours, new people. It's not all roses and pretty, but I'm getting there. I've had training, and got a chance to network yesterday with someone from L.A.!

Life at home has been good. We've both been adjusting well to the early evening sleeping thing. Yesterday I was so tired, I went to bed at 6 p.m. Weird for me.

Master has found a possible job opportunity that could be really good for Her. She's sending a resume out tomorrow. If they pick Her, it would be everything She's asked for in a job.

We've been having intense dialogue about M/s dynamics, and the labeling of other relationships in the Lifestyle. This was brought on by a comment from the person who drew up the M/s flag. Very heated debate. We are saying the same things we've said for the last three years, just at a different level. I know what kind of slave I am, what kind of personality I have. And I know Master, and Her brand of Mastery. I just wonder sometimes why we talk about it so much. I guess it helps solidify the relationship and our respective positions. And it helps Her work out in Her head what She is all about, and what other people are doing in their dynamics.

It feels like when I was still debating gay/lesbian politics, definitions, identities and genders. I'm through with that. People are what and who they are, and will define themselves by social clues. Those clues keep shifting and changing, defying the labels we invent to define who we are. Isn't that the nature of society?

And all I want is a quality career, a simple home life, food on the table, and friends who feel good to be around. The complications of defining existance can bore me sometimes, even though I see the necessity of the process of defining. Any way, that's the thought of the evening. I'll write more later when I have time.
