It's been a year since we moved to Santa Fe. It's been a very interesting learning curve. That includes work, lifestyle and people in general. It is very different here, and I feel that I am adjusting better than I thought I would.
I've had qualms, and thoughts of running back to Arizona because I don't quite "get it". I've decided it's better to stick through it. I remember when I first moved to Tucson, it took me five years to adjust to that city. I'm older, so I don't feel like I've got that amount of time to "adjust."
And that may be my head playing tricks on me. I'm just middle-aged, not ancient. I only hope that the next six months can see us moving beyond survival funds and back into having a little to put away, and maybe look towards that R.V.!
