I've spent a a grevious amount of time working on learning css, and how to apply it to my websites. Instead of messing with DieCast Poetry right away, i am using slave boy's journal for practice. DieCast is formatted in standard html, but after the next day or two, i'll be able to format in css. and the pages will load faster, and better than they do now.

Then i plan on uploading the new look of the sites. Feedback on the new DieCast site has been tremendous. I want to keep that look and feel. I downloaded a css editor that does the basics, i just wish i could find a better one. I have Microsoft Visual Basic, and i know it will do all these things i'm spending so much time on. But i think there's an advantage to learning hand code, and then applying that to programs. Besides, i don't have a book for Visual Basic just yet. Time for another trip to the library. I also still need to do research for art and artist links, poet links, and organizations for DieCast, and that is going to take some time, to find the ones i like. I need to spend time doing that as well as learning css.

Any way, my retinas are burning from spending too much time in front of the puter...time to do other stuff...

I hadn't been doing any formatting, so i haven't needed to post anything here.

The bells and whistles on my computer are working so i've decided to start keeping video diaries. I want to post these to the web. I took time yesterday to learn how to do that. Actually Master let me do it last night while She was working on old files.

I was able to succussfully format a page, and find the instructions to load the pages and the information to my server, and make Windows Media Player work! It took less then two hours. I am so psyched.

Because of the bandwidth, i won't be keeping them as archives. What i am going to do is post one entry for a week, then take that down. So readers of this journal will have one week to watch the video, then it will go away. Unlike my other pages that i am able to keep archived. Maybe i'll do the best of the best over a period of time...we'll see how it goes.

With the new year i am slowly working on updating all of the pages in this website. I am also fixing the look, getting it all even. This entails much work since I haven't bothered to learn CSS yet...that's on order for the coming weeks.
I also need to learn DHTML and javascript or perl or something, but i'm kinda scared of that.
Anyway, browse around. You'll see that i've tried to do what i could in fixing everything. If something doesn't work, again, you can email me and let me know...

Thanks!
