This is a piece i wrote while in therapy, while living with the F.O.O. Both my therapist, and my sponser were very excited to read such a positive note.
It lives on the door to the study in Master's House.

  • I am strong

  • My Higher Power believes in me
  • I am true to my path
  • I practice kindness love and tolerance
  • I am not perfect
  • I have a healthy body, the healthy mind will follow
  • I am sober today
  • I like my friends
  • My wrinkles are the road map of my life
  • I lost a couple teeth, so what, I can get them fixed
  • I treat my self the way I want others to treat me
  • I treat others the way I want to be treated
  • I am an adult now, and deserve to be treated with respect kindness and love
  • My past has no power over my present or my future
  • No matter what I have done, the Goddess still loves me
  • I can forgive myself for the wrongs I have committed
  • By committing new acts of kindness, I absolve my past mistakes
  • By making amends I correct the negative behaviors of the past and build towards a new life of Service and Usefulness
  • Living a life of service is not a sentence or punishment
  • I am human I will make mistakes
  • Someday someone will love me for all of me, who and what I am
  • This gift of life is precious I will not abuse it any more
  • I will get out of myself, and be interested in others
  • I can love myself no matter what because the Goddess loves me, She is a part of me, and I am of Her
  • Self-Esteem starts from within. If I see myself as healthy and whole so will others
  • My self-worth is not based on other people's opinion of me, it comes from within
  • I cannot judge myself, for how can I judge God?
  • I will live in today, not yesterday, not tomorrow.
  • I can open my heart and let others see the real me
  • There is no need to Fear, for there is nothing to fear, therefore Fear does not control my life
  • If I walk with the Goddess, then I walk in Love and I can respect myself, and love myself.
